Here it is – My Cookbook Wishlist for 2018! I love reading cookbooks, they are always so inspiring to me, even as a food blogger, maybe even especially! Seeing other food creative’s work, amazing recipe ideas, tricks & tips and who doesn’t love beautiful pictures of food?! The following 9 books are on my list this year, definitely a wide range of topics that I hope will help you when you’re shopping for the foodie, chef, or home cook in your life too!
Cookbook Topics That Interest Me Right Now
Ok you know you have a good cookbook Wishlist when you have Martha Stewart AND Snoop Dogg on it, fo shizzle! And where my food interests and what I look for in cookbooks tend to change over time and seasonally, here are some topics that interest me right now and draw me in when looking for cookbooks!
- Anything and everything preparing and cooking for the holidays, obviously!
- Great mealspiration (that’s a word right?!) made by talented home cooks
- Anything share board or charcuterie board related because I LOVE making them and even better, enjoying them.
- Anything Instant Pot or Pressure Cooker, I’m always looking for new meal ideas
- Food writing or food culture related books, for obvious reason. Food bloggers, I’ve got a good one on here for you!
- Cookbooks from one of my favourite rappers, because how can I even explain that? It’s Snoop!
- And of course, BEAUTIFUL FOOD pics, because they are my true love affair and sometimes you can buy a cookbook based on the delicious cover right?
