I’ve been slowly sipping my way through The New Cocktail Hour which I highly recommend to those of you that are interested in all things crafting cocktails. Whether you’ve been doing it for years or just started out, this book has everything you need and some really interesting history on classic cocktails. I knew I needed to make a twist on their gin fizz cocktail stat! I mean gin cocktail right? Always a yes for me and I just so happened to have some beautiful fresh mandarins for the occasion…and by occasion, I mean avoiding the serious snow fall happening outside and mixing cocktails mid day. I may have even taken this beauty gin fizz cocktail on my snowy stroll to the mailbox later that day 😉
Try it on as a part of your next cocktail hour! Or if you’re stuck in a snow storm, even way it’s guaranteed to brighten your day!
