Pitcher cocktails for patio season!
These Paloma pitcher cocktails are everything you need to enjoy potion season this summer! That classic sweet and salty margarita style taste. Made with grapefruit juice, lime juice, fizziness from the club soda and silver tequila, they are super easy to put together. These pitcher cocktails give you more time to sip and enjoy than running back and forth mixing drinks. Pull up that sun chair and enjoy!
Paloma’s are without a doubt at the top of my list when it comes to my favourite summer cocktails. The salted rim, the sweet but tangy grapefruit juice with a good silver tequila. They are almost a little too easy to enjoy in my opinion. They also make for the perfect pitcher cocktails, simple grapefruit juice, lime juice, club soda, tequila, poured over ice with some citrus slices and it sure beats running back and forth to mix another. Simply make ahead and pop in the fridge into you’re ready to serve. I will say though, if you are planning on making them ahead, I’d leave out the ice right until you’re ready to start pouring so that you don’t get a watered down cocktail. I also used ruby red grapefruit juice to make mine, which I find to be on the sweeter side. If you’re using fresh squeezed grapefruits, it can sometimes make for a tart cocktail, adding some simple syrup or even honey or agave syrup to taste can help.
