Strawberry Rhubarb Chamomile Iced Tea

A classic combo of strawberry and rhubarb with calming chamomile tea makes for the perfect sipper on a hot summer evening.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Bring 1 litre of water to a boil, add tea bags and steep for 5-10 minutes
  2. Remove tea bags and place tea in fridge to cool
  3. Meanwhile, simmer rhubarb, sugar and water in a medium pot for approx 10-15 minutes until rhubarb starts to break down and mixtures starts to thicken. Remove from heat and strain mixture through a fine sieve into tea mixture and discard rhubarb pulp and set aside strainer
  4. Add 1 cup of strawberry to a blender with 1/2 Cup of tea mixture and blend on high until strawberries are completely blended
  5. Strain strawberry mixture through a fine sieve into tea mixture and discard pulp
  6. Add halved strawberries and ice cubes to mixture, and serve!
